As we begin this exciting new project, we’d love to hear from you. Have suggestions or questions on what to do in D.C.? Reach out here.
Taylor and Ethan, both raised in the South, moved to D.C. 5 years ago to attend George Mason Law School, where they soon met in Criminal Law class. Sparks flew immediately, and they’ve been together ever since.
Taylor was raised a true Carolina girl, growing up outside of Charlotte on Lake Wylie before attending Clemson University. A longtime football fan, Taylor began her college days cheering on the Tigers as a Rally Cat, and she will happily remind you who won last year’s National Championship! When she’s not arguing about the delicate balance between economics and the environment, Taylor spends her evenings practicing yoga, teaching adult advanced hip-hop dance classes, and volunteering. She currently serves on committees for the American Bar Association, the Women’s Energy Network, and Girls On The Run. To wind down from her busy schedule, Taylor loves exploring D.C. sushi restaurants for the perfect spicy tuna roll to enjoy alongside a nice glass (or three) of Malbec.
After growing up on a farm in east Tennessee, Ethan attended the University of Tennessee before moving to D.C. for law school. While a lawyer by day, he prefers to spend his evenings talking about everything from SEC football to Parisian culture to the value of a well-tailored suit. A longtime runner and fitness buff, Ethan is always looking for a challenging new fitness class. But don’t let that fool you – he will happily cancel any plans for the promise of steak, bourbon, and a good cigar.
